Holiday Magic!

So we had a marvelous Christmas. My MIL and her hubby were here and we had a lovely time going out to eat and playing with the munchkin. Christmas morning was lots of fun, then we had a lovely ham of dinner- yummy! I was a bit sad having to attend Christmas eve services by myself, no one wanted to come with me. But as always I felt welcome the minute I walked thru the doors. Oh and did I mention my 2 outstanding gifts? My hubby got me a Scooba so I don't have to mop the floor any more, and my Dadoo got me a WACOM tablet! The men in my life spoil me so! Vacation day!

I'm taking today off. I'll be back on friday with freebies and a list but not today. That being said I have few for you- lol! Oh boy! That means I better start wrapping presents fast! LOL! We went and ate breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning and then had bingo that night. I took the day off!

So hubby was off and we finished up our Christmas shopping, ran errands and did family things. Only now at 10 pm am I finally getting onto the computer. (Yes, we know that it's really supposed to be after.) The whole shop will be 12% off starting the 13th-24 and then 25% off on Christmas. Sorry for the delay

I seem to say that a lot lately, oh well. I had every intention of returning yesterday but I got tangled up and upset so I didn't want to be on the computer anymore. It's now official, I've been pirated. I'm not going to tell you who or where but someone had uploaded my Emma kit parts to a different 4share account. They were still handing them out for free when you all know I've since transfered them to the shop. Makes me sad. I probably wouldn't have been upset if it had just been one of the freebies I've taken down due to lack of space on my 4 share account, but these were limited time freebies that I'm now selling. Either way it's wrong and illegal, but I was just so sad and frustrated over it. A lot of designers have stopped giving out freebies because of people doing this to them, I'm not going to stop over one but I can now see why they would if it happened repeatedly. People work hard on their templates and kits, then are nice enough to share them for free. And rather than be appreciative and say thank you, they grab and dash. Or is a few cases upload them to their accounts and either claim them as their own or pass them out in such a manner that the original designer never gets any credit or money for them. There were several other designers on this one person's account and it makes me very sad that so many people were taken advantage of and hurt by one individual. Well hopefully it will be rectified soon. Just wanted to let why I wasn't back yesterday, had to take a designing time-out. It snowed!

It was only a dusting and since the sun rose it melted but it gives me hope we'll have enought this year to get some shots of Emma playing in the snow. And we know how important those photos are for me to scrap! LOL! Tonight we're going downtown for the annual carriage rides. If there's snow they drag out the sleighs but it looks like horse drawn carriages for us this year. We didn't go last year so this should be fun for Emma. She'll get to see a horse close up!
