    Whew, almost there.

So it's almost the end of the month. That means if you haven't done so yet you need to post and/or pm your various challenges to get your goodies! I'm surprised so few people have taken part of my quote challenge this month at DBD. I mean if nothing else I went a bit crazy on my incentive kit and it's huge! There have been a ton of people who've taken part of the challenges at Happy Scrapz and it'll take me forever to send out those links. If you haven't done so yet you still have a chance to take part in our four challenges to get the cool kit Glory!

Just an FYI I won't be here on Wednesday, I have to go to the hospital for a follow up appt. and I plan to do some other stuff (like shopping and get a hair cut) when I'm out and about with out Emma. So if/when I get on the computer that day it won't be to freebie hunt.

Today has been lots of fun because Emma has decided she doesn't want to wear a diaper anymore. She wants to be a BIG girl like Kullan in a BIG boy and wear underpants/panties. Ugh, we've been sitting on the potty every 20 mins so we don't have an accident. I love that hubby will get to deal with this on Wednesday while I'm out! (Does that make me a bad person?)

I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row for my trip to California on the 11th. So much to do and so little time. I hope I don't have a melt down from being gone from Emma for the weekend. At least she'll be here with her daddy instead of someone else.

Okay, let's go find some freebies:
Nathy has a Funky Dots mini kit on her blog.
Monique has almost all of her Creme a la Framboise up.
    (Papers, alpha, tags, elements1)
Janosch has a cool Deco Border for you.
Shabby Miss Jenn has a Aug desktop and 12x12 QP set up for grabs.
Dahlia has a Rise Up paper pack on her blog.
Anne-Katrine has a cool paper pack that's all brown.
Sooze has a glittery butterfly up.
Franzi has a Pink sampler for you.
Princess Pam has a funny PB&J QP and and add-on to her Julia kit on her blog.
Kim B. has a template up for grabs.
Misty has some Happy Elements for you and link to a killer template of hers.
Lindsay Jane has a True Blue mini kit on her blog.
Jeann has a neat-o kit named Boy Zone! (Free 'til 8/2- must go thru shop.)
Kris has a sample of her The Happy Couple kit for you.
    Remember to share the love!

Carrie Stephens is having a chat tonight with goodies and prizes in the DST chat room at 10 pm eastern.

    Happy Scrapping!

    Saturday stuff

Welcome to the weekend. We've had nunder storms all day so we've been chilling inside. I finished the 4th challenge for the ADSR, go take a peek on the Super Scraps Team blog!
I was also messing around with some photos Emma took. (Yes, Emma was discovering the wonderful world of photo taking.) Here's what happens when we get silly:
    Credits:
paper- Coral reef by Shandy Vogt Designs
Swass Borders by Shandy Vogt Designs
    Paper Crown by Fantacy

I was thinking it'd make a good new avatar for me but I need to see if Shandy and Fantacy will let me use their stuff.

Hope you dropped by the Super Saver Saturday Sale over at DBD today. My new element pack Bling! is 30% off today only. I've added onto my Bling! collection with an alpha. It's the diamonds because I figured they'd be the easiest for you all to recolor. Well here it is Bling! ~the alpha~, letters a-z in lowercase and numerals 0-9. I also threw in a loose diamond just in case you might have a use for it, like I said you can never have too much Bling!
You can find both sets in my DBD shop!

    Okay, I'm going freebie hunting:
Babette has a cool floral grunge overlay up. (And a few more goodies if you scroll down.)

    Quick post for now.

Here's a quick post for now. Emma and I had a very busy morning we went to the park, I went and worked out at the YMCA (she got to play) and then we went to McDonald's for lunch. We've been on the go all day.

So the new ADSR challenge #4 is all about goals, I made a quick template last night to help get me inspired. I'm not big on scrapping myself and goals are tough for me to share so we'll see how I do. So here you all go a quick Jumpstart for you all! I see it being used in many different ways and of course if you're not in the ADSR you can always scrap your own goals, do a soccer LO or just replace that with a cute embellishment or cluster of some kind.

Sorry, this is no longer available.

    Enjoy and Happy Scrapping!
(I don't know if I'll be back with a list or not, hubby is off today. But I'll try since I know Ikea Goddess is having computer problems.)

    Goodness is it already Thursday?

So this week has flown past me. With reading HP7 and then hubby's "weekend" being Tues-Thurs my schedule is all out of whack. I didn't get time to hunt for freebies today because I was finishing up some stuff, scrapped challenge #3 for the ADSR then hubby & I went on a major house cleaning spree. (When he gets in one of those moods it's easier to pitch in and clean then anything else.) So I didn't actually spend much time online today and what time I spent on the 'puter was making/scrapping stuff.

So Cindy and I have both finished ADSR challenge #3, if you want to take a peek head on over to our Super Scraps Team blog. If nothing else you can see some pictures of my cutie. (HINT for dadoo- that means there's new Emma photos on it.)

Just a reminder we're getting closer to the end of the month. That means you need to get crack-a-lacking on those various challenges you were thinking about doing. We have 4 great ones over at Happy Scraps. (Template, grab bag, font and surprise.) My quote challenge at DigiByDesign. (Not to mention several more at DBD too.) And at any other assorted scrap sites you visit. Most have freebies for you if you take part, so go take a look around.

Oh and if you haven't grabbed it yet my mini kit Lime Popsicle is still in the shop for just $1, but only thru July then it'll disappear.

Okay let me share with you the freebies I do know of:
Lisa has a set of embellished cardboard frames.
Lori has a cool Pirate Ship template up.
Linda has a Summer Frenzy QP up.
Lindsay Jane has More Melon papers on her blog.
Traci has some Glitter Swirls for you.
Anita has more Sweet Attitude up. (It's such a cute kit!)
Krista has a beauty of a mini kit called Blue Bay Cottage!
Remember to leave some love when you download!

    Happy Scrapping Everyone!

    I'm back!

Hi there everyone! I finished Harry potter # 7 and it was awesome! I won't go into details because that's just mean but I am surprised how much I completely loved this book. I mean the whole series was great but the last one didn't thrill me so much. (I've decided to blame that on the fact that she wrote it while PG.) But this one was a page turner until the very end! Fabulous!

I hope you all grabbed my Wizardry kit and then took lots of photos either of the book parties or of loved ones curled up in corners reading. My dadoo was at a swim meet this weekend and said that kids were everywhere reading in between events. And my big bro said at Amtguard Saturday whenever someone died they'd go to the sidelines and read while waiting for the next game to start. I love hearing these stories of when and where people are seen reading these books!

I just put a pork roast into the oven for dinner. I've never done a pork roast before so I'll let you know how the family like it tomorrow, but it smells divine.

It's been brought to my attention that I do overkill sometimes. I mean like Wizardry for example. It was supposed to be a mini kit and turned out fairly large. I do that all the time. Oh well it's just me.

Oh the ASDR is going great. Cindy and I made a collab Lo for challenge #2, it's on the Super Scraps blog if you want to go take a peek. I think it turned out really great! And now we're onto challenge # 3 which is royalty LO or something. ( I need to go read it again.) But I figure that'll be easy with her royal highness around.

And thanks to everyone who stopped by bingo on Friday, it was fun! Did you miss out on buying my stocking this weekend? Well here's what was in it: Jumpstarts 2008 calendar collection!
It's got a 8.5x11 inch template for each month and has another template with the actual dates/grid portion for all 12 months of 2008. It comes in PSD, JPEG and individual PNG formats at 300 dpi. I figure it's a great way to get a Jumpstart on the new year and/or your Christmas shopping. (I made them 8.5x11 format in order to make it easier for everyone to print them out for use.)
You can get it now in my shop!

    Let's find some freebies!

Julie O. has started giving out her new kit Feeling Wonderful.

    CIJ Bingo Tomorrow!

Okay, there's my official ad for CIJ which starts tomorrow! Have you grabbed your bingo card yet? I added some more premade ones for those of you short on time. I'm giving out goodies at that chat so you'll want to stop by and play a game or three. As you can see the entire store will be on sale 40%off! Ornament exchange with others, the stockings filled with goodies in the shop, trivia and the LO challenges! Lots of fun, so plan on stopping by.
(Make sure you look closely at everyone's stocking previews for a hint at what's inside!)

I'd like to say I'm sorry to Heather for confusing myself ( and you too) with her film strip freebie and the cool brush set for her shop yesterday. But try typing a blog with a wiggly 2 y/o on your lap and see how accurate you do. (It really is a challenge.)

Okay freebie list- well I don't know if I'll get to that today. I'm jotting this down quickly while Emers eats her din-din. But I'm trying to finish up your Friday Freebie for tomorrow, so once that's done if I have time I'll get to the list, if not you'll just have to visit Ikea Goddess for her wonderful list! (It's so nice to have back-up.) Can I say the mini kit I started out making for your freebie tomorrow is ridiculously getting big? Not MK big, but it's not a mini kit anymore.

Well, I'll see ya when I see ya! Happy Scrapping!

    Nunder storms!

No it's not a misspelling, that's how Emma says thunder. It's so cute! She hears the thunder and asks, " What's that noise?" And I say, "It's thunder." Emma goes, " Nunder, out there?" while pointing outside. I reply, " Yes." So Emma then gets a big grin on her face and says "Nunder loud." At which point she either claps and dances or giggles and cuddles close. This will repeat continuously throughout the storm. I occasionally like to throw her off by responding, " I don't know. What is that noise?" To which she replies, " NUNDER!" and then does either the clap and dance or the giggle with cuddling. It makes the storms lots of fun!

I've finished my first Lo for the second ADSR. If you'd like to see it please visit the Super Scrap Team blog either by clicking HERE or on our blinkie in the side bar. I'm working on some goodies from our team but they'll only be available on that blog so keep a look out!

So yesterday I mentioned the Bingo I'll be hosting this Friday at 7 eastern, for Christmas In July at DigiByDesign this weekend. Today I'll clue you into a few more of the fun things we'll be doing. There's going to be a Christmas Trivia challenge, for every correct answer you give you'll receive a link to a goodie! (I think that's how it was explained to me at least. I know there's trivia questions and lots of goodies anyway.) We're also going to have designer stockings in the shop. Each designer will have a stocking stuffed full of goodies for you, with never seen before items, all at a low price. (Kind-of like a gift bag/box, and each preview will give you a hint as to whats inside. Don't quote me, but I think they're $2.50 each.) Check back tomorrow to find out more of what we have planned for you to celebrate this weekend! Tis the season for fun!

    Fun filled day!

Today's been a good day here! Emma and I went to the pool this morning and played with Kullan and Brianna. (I took lots of pics but it was with the underwater camera so you'll have to wait to see them.) Then we ate luch and went over to Kullan's house so mommy and daddy could go see the new Harry Potter movie. It was wonderful, well except the actor who plays Dudly isn't great. I loved how they adapted the book for the screen! I say go see it everyone!

Can I let you all in on a secret? We're having a special celebration next weekend at DBD. I can't tell you what it is but you'll all want to stop by!

It's currently 15 minutes until Friday here. That means by the time I get done with this entry it will in fact be Friday. So I'll go ahead and give you all your Friday Freebie. It's nothing really special just a few elements I've been playing around with in my attempt to make a manly kit. It's not going well on the kit but the elements have turned out fairly well. Here's what I have for you 3 frames and one belt. Two frames are for your more manly men type LOs and the third as well as the belt/buckled-ribbon are more computer geek type goodies. I know the preview isn't the best, I hope you enjoy them!

    Happy scrapping y'all!
(Did you see my cool blinkie?)

    Wanna Race?

Hi there everyone. I decided to take yesterday off. No real reason other than my foot was killing me, it was so humid and hot I think you could have cut the air with a knife, and I was enjoying a trashy romance- just couldn't put it down.

I want to thank those of you who said you'd join me in the ADSR but I went on the first come, first to be my partner basis and I'm proud to announce Cindy will be joining me as half of the Super Scraps Team! Here's the cool blinkie I made for us:
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I'm looking forward to a killer race this go round! There's almost 200 teams so it should be interesting to see how many make it to the end. I've been contemplating a blog for our team but I don't know if I'd have the time to set it up and keep posting to it. We'll see, maybe Cindy will tackle that part.

*I'll be back later to post freebies, I promise. The time will depend on if the little lady naps or not. Kristen and I are supposed to be taking Emma and Kullan to see Ratatouille this afternoon.

    Ouch!

I tripped over one of Emma's toys yesterday and ended up stepping on another. I now have a black and blue instep that swells up if I try to walk on it. I'm not a happy camper. So Emma has been restricted to the house and isn't happy either. She has all kinds of energy and didn't nap today. It's just a beautiful day. We need groceries but the thought of taking her to the store and limping around while pushing my cart is less than pleasant, so we're ordering pizza for dinner.
Hopefully she'll crash early, yeah right, and I can get some time on here but right now I'm busy trying to keep her happy with minimal movement on my part. It's going to be a lovely week I can already tell. On the upside Harry Potter #5 will be in the theaters on Wednesday and I have a friend who's going to watch Emma so hubby and I can go see the movie this weekend! Hopefully I'll be back soon to freebie hunt for us all.

    Thursday/Friday- new Jumpstarts & a Freebie!

Hi all! Sorry I'm so late in getting back but the truck was fixed and we had to go pick it up from the shop. So my friend and I decided we deserved food cooked by others and we went to McD's with the two munchkins. Then when I got home Emma was a grump for not napping. Ugh, so frustrating. I'm going to just make a combo post for Thursday and Friday. Then if I spot more freebies, and have time tomorrow, I can pop on for a quick post.

Here's a LO I made from some of last year's summer photos. I used the totally killer new mega kit from DigiByDesign, Stormy Oceans. Turned out lovely. I especially like the sand alpha Michelle made, well the whole kit really.
I also used one of my newest Jumpstarts in the above LO. Let me introduce you all to the Jumpstarts Make a Splash collection. This kit has 4-12x12 inch layered templates perfect for scrapping all your summer fun!
You can find them now, in my shop!

And of course since this is also the Friday post you must have your freebie. This little beauty was going to be part of a summer collection, but the rest were water templates. (See above collection.) So he became a blog freebie for you instead... aren't you all just so lucky?
