    4 Days 'til Christmas!

I awoke at 3am today, by 3:30 I knew I was up for good. It took me until 4:15 to escape from a certain sleepy toddler. Do you know what I did? Nope I didn't scrap, I made fudge! Both chocolate and peanut butter. I was all ready to make rocky road too but my bag of marshmellows was all stuck together and that just won't do. If Emma and hubby are still asleep when I finish this post I'll go make some toffee, then Emma and I can run to the store for marshmellows and some rice krispies. (have to put that bag of sticky ones to good use right?) I also need to grab a few more Chrismas tins to give this stuff out in, I didn't buy any after Christmas last year and I only have two left. Bad Amy, bad!

Well here's the LO I made for this week's sketchie callenge over at Miss Tiina's. Do you like it? It looks kind of busy this small but I think once I print it out 12x12 it'll be perfect! Can you tell the photo in the bottom is the mosaic from the other day? Cool right? Oh and if you head over to Miss Tina's my challenge for this week is also a template. I made it exclusivly for the challenge there and it'll not be appearing on this blog, so go look!Credits:

Bread Ties! and No. 50(More bread ties!)

    5 Days to Christmas!

Yesterday I was a busy bee. Emma refused to nap so she went down early. That ment some computer time for mommy, yeah! I made 5 templates and worked on a few LO's. I'm not happy with one and am going to redo the papers on it (it's too busy) but here's one I made from last year's Christmas morning. Can you see the destruction Emma made that morning. If you can't read the bread tie it says the date, "DEC 25, 2005". Credits:
Kit- O Christmas tree by Barb Derksen (Mrs Miles)
Ribbon- Wishing You a Happy Christmas by Sandra Boddington
Word art- Christmas Quotes by Nikole Terry
    Template- my No. 50
    Font- Segoe Media Center Semibold

I saw a bread tie on someone 's LO and thought what a great idea, I should make some. So I made the white one for the the above LO, then added more in pastel colors- that's what I usually see on my bread. Here are some bread ties for you to date your LOs in a neat way!
    Sorry, no longer availble.

Here's the template for the above LO. It's No. 50! Can you believe I already have 50 templates? WOW, do you have them all? I do-heehee.
    Sorry, no longer availble.

So, if you missed some or all of it you have a one time chance to grab her totally AWESOME kit. She does outstanding work and this kit is no different. Make sure to mark you calendars!

P.S. Just in case you were worried I did manage to get all my out-of-town gifts wrapped and into the post yesterday. Yeah me! Now, just to wrap Emma's and hubby's.

    Christmas Doodles and No. 49

    6 Days to Christmas!

I totally need to make it to the post office today if I want everyone to get their gifts on time.

Anyway, here's a LO I made for the sketchie challenge over at Miss Tiina's. I need to go back and mist that bkgd photo, but time was against me and I had been sitting too long. Oh, well.Credits:
Miss Tiina's Skeetchie tempalte 12/10/06 and Miss Tina's welcoem kit

I made this neat moasic from a tip off Mrs. Miles' blog. I always thought they were cool but too much work to make your self, well no more! You can make a moasic out of any photo for that special touch on your LO. Just go here: Image Mosaic Generator
Now, as you may have read yesterday sitting can be a bit uncomfortable so Emma and I colored and drew yesterday. (which we do on the kitchen floor for easy clean up) Here are the doodles I made, I cleaned them up a bit but you can totally tell they're doodles. The tree is my favorite, enjoy!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

Here's today's template, No. 49. It's also got some doodling on it, but this doodle is a giant flower. SO it's totally a girly template but that's okay since I'm a girl.
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

    Freebie tips of the day!
Arms Wide Open has both some templates and some Christmas word art up for grabs.

The next installment of Sabine's Hippie Chick is up on her blog.

Saab has a Christmas template for you.
Don't forget to share the love.
Which is something I totally didn't do yesterday due to the fact that sitting is litterally a PITA. So for everyone who's freebies I grabbed and dashed yesterday THANK YOU! I'll try to get back today but we'll see how it goes.

    Happy Holidays and Happy Scrapping!

    One Week?! (No. 48)

    7 Days to Christmas!

That's only one week! Where did the time go? I need to get those last gifts in the mail ASAP! But at least I'm done shopping. I actually got some stuff done yesterday! I worked on a kit, made a new template and even scrapped a little. I made a new avatar with my actual photo in it. It's a tad on the dark side but I like it and that's what matters! Here it is. Now I just need to get it put up on here and add it to all the various message boards I belong to.

Here's today's download my template No. 48. I tried my hand at some doodles but I'm not too sure about them. So if you think they need to be nixed feel free to exercise that delete button! Remember templates are a guide not a rule book, they are there to make things easier for you!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

    Freebie tips of the day!
ConnyB. Has up some wonderful QP's from her Thinking of You kit.

On a side note I've been having a few medical issues, that I'm not going to go into detail on, which make sitting difficult. So if I miss a day or post super late it's not that I don't love y'all, it's just not a good day for me.

    Happy Saturday! (No. 47)

    8 Days 'til Christmas!

It's a lovely Saturday where we are, if a bit cold. Had a lovely chat last night over at NDISB about the Amazing Digiscrap Race! When I went to sleep there were 82 team registered. But my Scrapzone Troopers will leave them all in the dust!

Here are a few goodies to make your holidays bright. I do believe this little guy is the last of my Christmas goodies. My little buddy Matt and I doodled this guy out at a swim meet a few years ago. I figured he's too cute to leave on a meet program so I scanned him in , and now he's an ornament for you to enjoy!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

This is another of my Ode to Circles templates. You'll notice I again had to add some stripes and squares to keep me sane. (I like straight lines and angles, could you tell?) Well, enjoy!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

    Freebie Tips for the day!
Maddy has a wonderful Christmas Alpha up for you!
Leah has an awesome freebie kit called Just Chillin.

Happy Holidays and get a scrapping!

    Friday Freebie- Stary Night!

    9 Days to Christmas!

It's Friday and that means it's freebie time again. I know you're all thinking, but you do freebies everyday. Yes, well, I know after the holidays my super flow of ornaments and such will stop so I don't think I'll keep up with every single day. I do promise a freebie every Friday. Today's freebie is what inspired template No. 41. It's more of a mini kit but enough to do a template with! I hope you enjoy it!Sorry, this is no longer availble.

Now circles seem to be the in thing right now(possibly always) in LO design. I'm not so great with that but I'm trying. Here is a circle crazy template I made. You'll notice I still had to put square photos in to save my sanity.
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

Now, this is usually where I put my freebie tips of the day. However today I'm doing something different. Today I'd like to tell you about the
    Pajamas 4 Love Project.
It's a wonderful cause! 75 digital scrapbook designers have given to this kit! There's 200 papers, over 350 elements and the proceeds are going to such a worthy cause, children fighting cancer. I know I'm usually all about the freebies but I'm also about spreading the love and these kids really need it. The full kit is only $15 but they've broken it down into 4 mini kits for $5 each. Please go and take a look. It's the holiday season and we need your help to give something to these little angels, and you get an awesome scrap kit in return!

I also want to thank those of you who take the time to leave me a comment or as I like to call it some love. I work hard(most of the time) on these freebies and it means so much to know that they are appreciated. If you have any work that you've made with my stuff I'd love to see it. Send it my way at: awatson8@nc.rr.com

    11 Days until Christmas!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm supposed to go meet up with some girlfriends that are in from out of town so I'm excited! This collage was made by my sister a few years ago. I like it because it's all the family Christmas photos over the years. So it's me from a little baby on up. I'm the youngest if that helps you figure out which one is me.Here's a random goodie I made. It, like yesterday's stuck Santa, just never fit in with anything I was making or putting together. It's still a cute ornament, or you could erase the ring up top for a neat button or something.
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

Here's my next template No 44. It's a lot of boxes, but I still like it!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

As some of you know I've taken off a lot of my older stuff from the blog. But some will be making guest appearances here and else where. Like currently my Gingerbread Mini Kit is the prize for taking part in my color LO challenge at Miss Tiina's. So head on over and join us. You have to register but it's free and you get a neat welcome kit. Plus Miss Tiina does a weekly template challenge so there are other freebies floating around over there. If you have problems registering let me know and I'll give you her email so she can enter you manually!

Random act of Kindness (Tassels & No. 42)

    13 Days 'til Christmas!

First off is the cutest photoshopped LO of Emma's bad Santa photo. It's made by MA3. She made all the papers and elements for it, such a wonderful job! Big thank you! Here's a little goodie I was messing around with. They're tassels for you to use where ever you want. They didn't fit with anything I was currently working on but I figured could go with lots of different Chrismas LOs.
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

Here's my latest template. It's perfect for any event where you have too many cute photos to choose from. I put in my first try at making notebook paper, not bad is I do say so myself. If you'd rather not use it or want to put in a big photo instead feel free. I just figured with that with so many photos you'd be needing room to journal!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

    Freebie tips for the day!
Digiscraps has part 2 of their advent up but it's a great mini kit by itself.
Filly has her Christmas kit up for grabs.

Megan has a cute Snow Day kit on her blog.
The Digiscrapper has a nice kit up as well called Sentimental Embracing.
Val has a neat stocking QP up on her blog.
And have you headed over to Mrs. Miles' place lately to grab her super cute little animals?

Don't forget to leave some love when downloading!

Don't forget it's the holiday season. I challenge each and everyone of you to perform a random act of kindness today. Pay for the person behind you on the bridge, compliment someone wen you notice they have a nice haircut or shoes, hold the door for someone with their arms full. It doesn't have to be big but it may just brighten someone's day and give you that warm tingly feeling. Happy Holidays everyone!

    Snowflakes QP and Stickers!

    14 Days until Christmas!

WHAT?! Only two weeks! But I still have a few gifts to buy and some boxes to mail. I'd have been done with the gifts but what I wanted was sold out. Hopefully I'll be done by the end of the week. Then I just have hubby's birthday left, it's the 28th-ugh. Then I get to start wrapping! Emma slept thru the night last night-yeah! She still has a cough but I think we're on the way to a mend! Thanks again for all the get well vibes sent her way!

Here is the latest in the bad Santa photo LOs by Dara. I love the caption/title- I believe in Santa Claus (but I can't believe this photo), it's just too cute! Thanks Dara!

ribbon - Advent 2006 by Heather Jolly
trees - Festive Felt Freebie by Traci Sims (colour adjusted)

Now here a gooide for you. I made another greeting card except this one is a QP I figured if you've waited this long you need it to be as easy as possible! I totaly got the idea from Barb's(Mrs. Miles) snowflake overlay and blue snowflake papers. Thanks Barb for being such an inspiration! Oh, it's a 4x6 for easy printing and mailing!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

Here are dome goodies I promised earlier in the week. I tried to make them look like those foam craft stickers but they also kind-of look like I made them from construction paper. Oh well, I think they are super cute any way you look at them. The red on Santa, Roudolph and Frosty are the same shade as the Sweetie kit so would look great with a LO from that kit!
Sorry, this is no longer availble.

    Freebie tips for today!

Christmas Goodies! (No. 40-QP, Card & Blue and Pink)

    17 Days until Christmas!

Big thank you to everyone for the good wishes for Emma. She's doing better but still feeling crummy. I didn't get much of a chance to work on the computer yesterday but my stockpile of Christmas goodies is looking good still so we're alright. Today you get the third part of the ornament pack the pink and blue. I've also put in my brilliant penguin idea. I made it a template and a QP. Feel free to change the color of the penguin I should have turned him a pastel for my LO. Maybe I'll go back and do that. Like the hat I drew on Emma? Here she is chilling on the floor watching her "Icky Ouse". Lord if I have to watch Once Upon A Christmas one more time I may just go batty!
