Where am I?

I just don't know. As you know my parents fly i for the weekend so we're busy picking up the house. That's not an easy task with Emma "helping" us out. Oh well. At least I was a day off on their arival. I thought it was tonight but it's tomorrow. We're still cleaning today because hubby works tomorrow but I can catch up on a few things today still. It's the 28th! That means there's only 2 days left in the month to get your challenges done or grab my grab bag and mini kit! Just a head's up

Hi everyone. We're still sick here. My parents are flying in for the weekend and I have stuff I need to get done. I don't know if I'll be back today with a list or not. We're sick

Emma and I are sick. We've both got colds. It's going around since half the church congregation was sick yesterday. Emma is being so clingy. I'll see what I can get done today while she's sleeping but I can't promise an in depth freebie hunt. However, if that's the case I will come back tomorrow and add to it. It's spooky around here...

Hi there everyone. Whew the past few days have been rough around here. Emma has her last 2 year molar coming in. (I think it's her last, I'll have to double check once this one is in.) So she's been grumpy to the max. She even bit a kid at school yesterday. And I ran around doing errands yesterday including getting my eyes examined. It seems because I'm nearsighted and spend so much time on the computer I either need two pairs of glasses or bifocals. -sigh- I'm a 28 y/o who'll soon be wearing bifocals... and no smart remarks from the peanut gallery thank you. What a weekend!

Whew, that was one busy weekend! Saturday I cleaned all morning and made sticker art with Emma (Thanks to everyone who's sent her stickers- you guys rock!). Then in the afternoon Kristen and Kullan came over and we all baked up a storm. We made banana bread for hospitality for church on Sunday, a cake to take by the firehouse and cookies for all of us. Then we took that still warm chocolate cake over to the firehouse and they let the munchkins climb all over the trucks. And yesterday was church followed by me making some seriously yummy chicken parmesan. Not to mention I've been trying to get my Halloween kit and template collection completed. The Jumpstarts are done and in the shop already but the kit while done needs to be packaged up and uploaded still so probably a few more days on that one. New stuff in the shop!

Yeah, I finally got my new stuff into the shop yesterday! But we'll get to that in a minute. Emma is being such a big girl today. She slept very well last night in her big girl bed and then actually went pee-pee in the potty this morning. Potty training is on going but I'm going to get it done, even if it kills one of us. (Not sure which one of us at this point since she keeps rebounding between using it and not- ARGH!) Okay, let's look at my new goodies! First off is a new commercial use product Bowz! I spent this weekend doing more cleaning up and cleaning out of the house. We took a bunch of Emma's old toys to Goodwill and we took down her toddler bed so we could put in her very own big girl bed (twin). They're delivering it this afternoon, then we're going to go buy her some sheets. I haven't been on the computer too much since Hubby's weekend was actually a weekend. Hi all. Well I never made it back yesterday. Emma got sent home from school sick and was being very clingy. You're all too much!

I want to thank everyone who's offered stickers for Emma. I was in no way asking for that with my post and that you all are more than willing to send her some tickles me pink. I was more expressing how sad it made me that people didn't want to take part in the original endeavor when they knew that they'd be disappointing small children by not following thru. As to missing the original post you might not have missed it but it wasn't a call for stickers it was a chain letter/pyramid scheme kind of thing. Emma got one from her little buddy Kullan. It said to mail one pack of stickers and forward the letter to six more little buddies who'd like stickers. We had to mail our pack of stickers not to Kullan but his little friend who first sent him the letter. SO like I said my six people were supposed to mail their stickers to Kullan and then the 36 that they sent them to were supposed to mail them to Emma. I knew she wouldn't get all 36 because people would forget or not want to take part, but it just made me sad that only 1 had because I had asked for volunteers both on here and on my mommy board or to people with little kids who I knew would have fun with it. Oh well, you all have more than made up for it and I thank you even if it wasn't my original intent. It always astounds me how wonderful, giving and generous the digi-scrap community is. I see it time and again thru freebies, RAKs and charity kits. You all are fabulous! I'm starting to feel Halloween is drawing near. I've been discussing costumes with Emma and right now it's down to 3. (Mind you all of them could change anytime soon.) And they are Thomas the Tank Engine, Buzz Lightyear and a Pirate. There was a cute farmer one she was interrested in but it's too small for my gi-normous 2 y/o. I've also been brainstorming and starting to create some fall & Halloween goodies so I'm ready for my most favoritest holiday to begin! Here's a LO I made of last year's costumes using Derek's super cool kit! Credits: Googleye by Derek M. I'm sad.

Do you remember a few months back when I asked for volunteers for Emma's sticker chain letter thingie? Well, as of now she's gotten one pack of stickers. (Actually that very generous sender gave her a few packs! But still one one person.) That makes me sad. I knew she wasn't likely to get all 36 because that'd mean that each of the six people I sent it to and their six would all have had to follow through, but to have only received from one makes me sad. Emma has no clue. She was just excited to get mail and to have it be stickers was a super bonus, but only one? I do hope that at least my six people sent the stickers to her little buddy Kullan, it'd make me sad if he didn't get a good number of stickers. Everyday she wants to play with stickers. She picks out her color of construction paper and then goes sticker crazy. She could easily go through 100 stickers in a day. We went to the doctor yesterday for her cough and I brought stickers for the wait. She gave the completed artwork to her Dr. B. and he put them on the bulletin board. On the way out she had to show two of the nurses. My little sticker princess. Oh well, I know my mom has a bunch for her soon and I just ordered a ton from Oriental Trading too, so we'll be good... for about a week. I just wish other could have sent her more, it'd have been cool to see what other people sent. (Since mommy on occasion ends up cover by stickers variety is always nice.) Some news

Okay, I've come to a decision. You all often ask how I have time to do everyting I do and well the answer is I don't. So I've come to the executive decision that my freebie hunting list will now be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only. Mind you if I have free time and go hunting on those other days or just know of some goodies I may still post a list, but I'm only going to guarantee you a list on M,W & F. There will also be the Friday Freebie on Fridays so it's a good day to stop by. I'll be moving my newsletter over to a yahoo group, as soon as I do that (tried today and it was a no go- yahoo was having problems) I'll open it up for new people again. I give out some great little freebies thru there so if you like my stuff you'll have to remember to sign up once it's up and running. I'm also going to be having a CT call here soon. (I'm aiming for Friday.) I've lost a few people over the past few months and so it's time to get some fresh new faces on board. So keep your eye out for that if you're interested in getting my stuff for free.. Okay, as it's Tuesday I'm not going to go out freebie hunting but I will tell you of the few I know about. It's September!

School is back in session, the leaves are starting to change colors, the weather is cooling off, (Thank you!) summer is on it's way out and autumn is arriving! I love this month! I have a lot to share with you today but first thank you for your kind thoughts and wishes. I'm still not 100% better but the doctor gave me some good drugs yesterday!
